The Gonzalezs'

Havent taken a family photo in a while, in all honesty it was due to a bad hair cut. I know you Moms and Ladies would understand, this is the first photo I took with my hair slightly grown out. Yes this is grown out compare to the way it looked 6 months prior---imagine the length then (can you say butch) yiks. My very good friend Roberta is such a good friend she constantly reminds me when I'm going to the hairdressers not to repeat this experience. Thanks Roberta:) Any how back to the photo, this was taken in November at my Moms, another family dinner at Grandmas and Grandpas.

Baby love..

Away with the red frilly dresses and heart printed ties this Valentine, it's all about peace and love with the Gonzalez's. Photo shoots for Peter Ray have turned into ham shoots, gone are the days of crying and a frustrated Mommy. Sophia on the other hand has made a turn for the more serious pose. Go figure by Easter it will be a new game. Hope your Valentine is lovely........

Obama's in the House

As our country made history Peter, Sophia & I watched President Obama get sworn in. It was a very memorable time for me, a time I will remember forever. On this Tuesday morning instead of Sophia and I running errands after we drop PeterRay off to school we raced home to meet up with Peter and watch this historical time together. As I held back tears I turned to my strong husband the man who physically and mentally protects us all, only to see him as well holding back tears. It was one of the most beautiful days of our lives, we both postponed errands, sleep, calls and time to watch our country make history. As many of you know we supported this calling from day one. My husband although a Clinton fan jumped on my Obama wagon and even took time to talk with our community in trying to get everyone to vote, vote for whom ever they believed in, vote because everyone needs to be heard, vote because its your country. I was too proud of Peter once again. So as we sat in the family room this Tuesday morning our day proceeded with hope.

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonder if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy tonight is your answer. It's been a long time coming, but tonight because of what we did on this day in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America". Barack Obama 11/4/08

Measured the kids after the holiday, I was right they are growing in their sleep!

PeterRay is now 42" TALL, tall enough to go on most rides at Disney:) Sophia is up there too at 33" TALL.
